Ego Clashes Between Nagababu And Allu Aravind

Everything goes well as far as films are concerned. But politics bring hiatus among family members as well as clash of pinions will be bigger. Grapevine says that a little clash of opinion is noted between Nagababu and Allu Aravind. While Nagababu is going ahead with open mindedness and pleasing the people who are sympathetic to Chiru party, Aravind is making calculations on every aspect.

Nagababu arranged expensive and delicious food for Chiru-Mahila-Sena but Aravind is found worried for that. It was said that Nagababu arranged for Rs 400 worth plate meal in the gathering but Aravind asled it seems to be controlled while spending money. On the other hand Nagababu is putting many efforts to pool people with his natural down to earth nature, but Allu Aravind is showing his cine airs on them it seems.

Politicians expect human touch to continue association. At the same time aspiring politicians are not ready to face what ever be the treatment like youngsters aspiring to get into films. It is said that clash of opinions is sprouting between Aravind and Nagababu.

'Jai Chiranjeeva' Party Is Too Boasting

"NTR didn't name his party as 'Rama Rao Party', Congress wasn't formed by the name of Hume. BJP was not formed as 'Advani Party'. Then how Chiranjeevi party can be named 'Jai Chiranjeeva'? This is ridiculous and senseless", is the reaction of public after looking at the news in an English news daily today.

"It sounds boasting", said another.

Chiranjeevi gets make-over as messiah of masses

They herald him as the messiah of the masses, as one who would fight corruption and commercialisation of education and who would champion human rights. In a couple of weeks, the entire state is expected to reverberate with chants of 'Jai Chiranjeeva.' CDs of songs praising the ideals of megastar Chiranjeevi are all set to flood the state in the run-up to the announcement of the party in the second fortnight of the month.

According to sources, Chiranjeevi is in favour of "Jai Chiranjeeva" as the name of his political party as it means blessing the people. Though several names were under consideration, the feedback from the fans and well wishers was that "Jai Chiranjeeva" would be the best. That the party should bring blessings to the people of all sections is the underlying idea, the sources added.

"Even though a last minute change is not ruled out, the name of the party would certainly carry the name of the leader in one form or the other," sources said. Going by the songs in the CD, the megastar is being projected as a leader who would fight political corruption in the state.

Apart from political corruption, the manifesto, which is undergoing last-minute changes, elaborately deals with environment, rights of children, commercialisation of education, growing economic burden on the middle class housewives, etc. As for education, the manifesto decries the policies of the government that encourages commercialisation.

"Reimbursement of college fee for the poorer students is no solution to the maladies of education system. This, instead of tackling the issue, will further aggravate the situation," is expected to be the guiding line of the party in the education sector.

"Political corruption is the root cause of all evils in society. The system is made to thrive on corruption. So, the Chiranjeeva party would try to eradicate all the factors that foster corrupt practices," is said to be Chiru's conviction.

The manifesto is going to reflect the ideals of Gandhi, Jyotirao Phule-Ambedkar, Mother Teresa and former president APJ Abdul Kalam. In fact, it was his meeting with Kalam seven months ago that drove the megastar to take the decision to take a plunge into politics, the sources claimed.

The agenda is being formulated keeping in mind the rivals in the state, mainly the Congress and the TDP. Chiranjeevi believes that "the conviction to do something good to society is more power-packed than an atom bomb. So, the party and the manifesto are bound to bind all good intentioned people, especially youth for a change in the political system in the state," is said to be the theme of the manifesto.

Chiru Party On Aug 26th?

Actor Chiranjeevi's political party is likely to be launched officially on August 26th, coinciding with Mother Theresa's Birthday. Widespread reports say the actor's camp is keen on announcing the party on August 17th, while launch is reserved on 26th. The proposed dates also have astrological sanction, it is learnt. Meanwhile, with Chiru party becoming a sure-for-reality dimension, the Congress party leaders in the state contend that Chiru's party will have no impact on their party. But, Cong's arch rival TDP is maintaining silence. The Left parties are said to be waiting for the party to get launched by Chiru, so that they could clarify their stand when it comes to forging political alliances in the state, with the general and assembly elections looming large in the first half of next year.

Mahesh fans' Psychological War On Chiru

Even before he launched his political party, a psychological war has begun against megastar Chiranjeevi, obviously by the Congress think tank.

The Congress leadership is trying to tell the people that the so-called blood bank activities of Chiranjeevi are not so great as to bring him into power. Instead of directly attacking the megastar, it is provoking the fans associations of Prince Mahesh Babu and his father Krishna to run down Chiru camp.

And they are doing exactly what they have been asked to do. They have started attacking Chiru party stating that the so-called blood collection is not at all a social service activity, but a publicity stunt. "Had we taken up this blood bank activity, we would have created a Guiness Book record in collection of blood," the fans association leaders said in a statement.

Well, it remains to be seen how Chiru fans would react to this statement. But one thing is certain. The Congress camp will achieve what it wants: dragging Chiranjeevi into controversies and malign his image, as soon as he makes entry into politics!

Secret Meeting Of Mohan Babu and Rajasekhar

This could seem as a rather unusual meeting but then the old saying that goes on the lines of enemy's enemy is a friend seems to hold good in this particular case. There is strong news that is making rounds that there have been few rounds of secret meetings between Collection King Mohan Babu and Angry man Rajasekhar. This meet has been done very clandestinely.

Given the fact that both Mohan Babu and Rajasekhar are staunch rivals of Megastar Chiranjeevi and the impending arrival of the huge star in the field of politics has garnered a lot of significance to this secret meet. While the details of this secret meeting and the issues and topics discussed still remain a mystery, there are a few obvious guesses.

Chiru from his end is all set to make his announcement on the 8th of this month and it remains to be seen if this meet between Mohan Babu and Rajasekhar will come up with any outcome and we will soon know the after effects of this meet since the time has come for a real showdown. Jaya Kameshti Yagam To Defeat Chiru

Every body knows Tirumala Tirupati Devasthams chairman Bhoomana Karunakara Reddy is a staunch loyalist of Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. He goes to any extent to get political mileage for YSR. The other day, he spent huge amounts from the TTD exchequer to perform Varuna Yagam and it fetched rains to the State.

Now, Karunakar Reddy is worried over the reports that megastar Chiranjeevi is likely to sweep the polls in the State and there is every chance that the new party comes to power. Though it is too premature to predict the outcome of the next elections now, Karunakara Reddy does not want to take any chances. Spending huge amounts of TTD money again, he performed "Jaya Kameshti Yagam" at Tirupati on Thursday to ensure victory for YSR again in the next elections.

Not only that, he had prayed the Gods to see that the new party to be floated by Chiranjeevi is eliminated from the political scene. "My yagams never failed to yield results. Definitely, YSR is going to come back and all new parties are going to disappear very soon," he claimed. All the best, Bhoomana!

Chiru Changes TD Beliefs

It may sound strange but coastal Andhra leaders of Telugu Desam now want separate Telangana, all thanks to mega star Chiranjeevi. The actor’s plan to enter politics has changed the mindset of Andhra leaders of the TD to an extent. They are now stepping up pressure on the TD chief, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, to soften the party’s stand over separate statehood in order to forge an electoral understanding with the Telangana Rastra Samiti.

The same leaders had earlier bluntly rejected a truck with the Telangana Rastra Samiti and opposed the idea of a separate state.

However, they now feel that after Chiranjeevi’s political entry, the TD may witness desertions large-scale desertions in coastal Andhra, which may have repercussions in other regions. So, to counter the impact of Chiranjeevi’s proposed party, a tie-up with TRS is necessary. This will instil confidence in the party workers of Andhra region that the TD would win the 2009 polls. Senior leaders from Andhra region including Mr K. Yerrannaidu, Mr Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, and Mr Kodela Shiva Prasada Rao were earlier staunch supporters of united Andhra.

However, they have changed tack after the exit of Mr T. Devender Goud and are now amenable to the Telangana idea. When Mr Goud was in the TD, there had been sharp exchanges between him and Mr Ramakrishnudu over Telangana. In the first meeting of TD five-member committee on Telangana too, Mr Goud was singled out for criticism.

All this has changed now. When asked about the possible tie-up between the TD and the TRS, Mr Yerrannaidu replied, "We will adopt whatever strategy is needed to dislodge this government in next elections." He added that the Congress was the main enemy of the people and the TD would do everything to defeat that party.

Talking to this newspaper, Mr Shiva Prasada Rao also said the TD was not against Telangana. "Some leaders of our party are under the impression that if we take pro-Telangana stance, people of Andhra area may not accept it," he said. "This notion is wrong. One should not forget that Andhra people also agitated for state bifurcation." Another senior leader from Andhra said that there was no point in the TD opposing the idea of Telangana. "It is better to buy time for a few more days," he said. courtesy : DC
